Context
This lesson introduces and describes consecration by examining the life of the patriarch, Abraham. The consecrated life begins with a call by God to be holy, set apart from the world for Him. Abraham demonstrated his consecration through his faithful obedience to follow God’s instructions, which included leaving his home and proving his willingness to sacrifice his son, Isaac.
