Students will write out their testimonies and practice sharing them with a partner.
Download the Student Worksheet. Provide a copy for each student.
Learning Goal: Students will apply their understanding by committing to join with Jesus Christ in making disciples of all nations.
Direct students to spend a few moments completing the “My Testimony” section on the Student Worksheet. Explain that your testimony is simply when you share what Jesus has done and is doing in your life. Once students have completed their testimonies, tell them to find a partner and practice sharing their testimonies within a two-minute time limit. Encourage students to share their testimonies just like they would talk about anything good in their lives—such as a big win for their team or winning an award.
Ask students to quietly contemplate the people in their lives with whom they can share the gospel. Ask students to pray that they will have boldness in seizing those opportunities this week.
