Divide learners into groups of three or four and lead them to what Christmas and Easter have in common concerning the person of Christ. After a minute or so, call for responses, and then ask: What does Christmas and Easter have in common concerning how we celebrate those holy days? After discussion, explain that, in today’s Bible study, learners will look at how Jesus’ birth gives witness to the gospel message of Easter.
