Learners will consider what their lives would be like today without Jesus.
Provide blank paper and pens to each group.
Divide learners into groups of 2 or 3, provide paper and pens to each group, and instruct learners to work together to describe what they think their lives could be like if they had not accepted Jesus as their Savior and Lord. Encourage learners to think about what their lives were like before they accepted Christ and where those lives then might have ended up today without Jesus.
After several minutes, lead groups to share their responses. Allow time for other learners to react to responses. Ask: What response have you heard that best reflects what your life might be like today without Christ? Why? After responses, remind learners that our amazing God of love planned long ago to send His Son as a baby to be near to us––to be with us.
