Learners will describe what their lives are like with Jesus as their Savior.
Provide blank paper and pens to each group.
Divide learners into groups of 2 or 3, provide paper and pens to each group, and instruct learners to work together to describe how their lives have changed since accepting Jesus as their Savior and Lord. Encourage learners to think about what their lives were like before they accepted Christ and what their lives are like now as they work.
After several minutes, lead groups to share their responses. Allow time for other learners to react to responses. Ask: What response have you heard that best reflects what your life is like now, with Christ? Why? After responses, remind learners that our amazing God of love planned long ago to send His Son as a baby to be near to us––to be with us.
Encourage learners to pray in their groups for their church family to share the love of Immanuel by reaching out to people in their community. Conclude the time of prayer by thanking God for the gift of His Son who came to be with us.
