Discussion: I'm With Her

(5-8 minutes, easy set-up)
Learners will discuss the campaign slogan, “I’m with her.”
Write “I’m with her!” on the dry erase board. Provide a dry erase marker.

Point to the statement on the board and remind learners that people have used that statement to show they supported Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign. Ask: What does that statement convey? Lead learners to think about this statement from several angles. (Possible answers: they are on her side; they have her back; she can count on their support; they agree with her stand on the issues; they follow her leadership; she has their vote.)

State that God chose to be with us as well, and loved us so much that He sent His Son to be God with us. Explain that today’s lesson will allow learners to explore this part of the birth of the Christ-child.
