(5–8 minutes, easy set-up)
Provide paper and a pen for each learner, a dry erase board and markers.
Distribute paper and pens. On the board, write the following statement: My worship of God is so important to me that . . . Instruct learners to prayerfully complete the statement with the first three responses that come to mind.
After a few minutes, ask: Did you find it difficult to complete the statement? Why? After responses, ask: In completing the statement, what did you discover about the importance of faithful worship in your life? Instruct learners to turn to a partner and share their responses and prayer requests. Close by praying that learners will continue to consider the importance of faithful worship in their lives.
