Today’s Treasure Verse is Romans 1:16: “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.” Write the verse on the board and ask your students to read it together. Begin erasing one to two words at a time as your students continue reading the verse. Keep erasing until the verse has disappeared and your students can say the verse from memory.
