In today’s Treasure Story, the Magi were seeking to find Jesus so that they could worship Him. However, not everyone recognized Jesus as the Messiah. Remind the children that sometimes we can get so involved in other activities like soccer or gymnastics that we forget to take time to worship Jesus. Challenge the students to set aside time during their day this week to worship Jesus through prayer and singing to God. Encourage them to ask their parents to read the Bible to them. We should seek Jesus with a heart of worship, just as the Magi did.
