Supplies Needed: Pictures of Rahab and the spies from the Early Arrival Activity, scissors, red ribbon or cord, tape

To reinforce today’s Treasure Story, the students will complete the activity they started at the beginning of class. Instruct them to cut out the spies they colored earlier. Then show them how to cut a slit at one of Rahab’s hands and feed a red ribbon or cord through the opening. They may want to tie a knot in the cord behind the paper so that it cannot slip all the way through the opening. The students will then use tape to attach the spies to the other end of the red cord. As they pull the cord, it will appear that the spies are climbing up and down the wall.
As your students are working on their pictures, review the story with them and discuss the importance of trusting in Jesus.
