Supplies Needed: Whiteboard or chalkboard, dry-erase marker or chalk
To help the students better understand their mission for the week, remind them that God commanded Joshua to have courage when he was chosen to be the new leader of the Israelites. God didn’t want Joshua to be afraid because He would be with him and protect him. Ask the children to share about when they need to have courage. Write their responses on the board. Challenge them to make it their mission this week to have courage in situations when they may be afraid. We can have courage because we can trust that God is with us.
