Preschool: End-of-Day Activities
(10 minutes or until the parents pick up their children)
Supplies Needed: Red and green construction paper, scissors, children’s books
Teacher Note: These are activities to do while waiting for the parents to pick up their children. Remember that parents will come at different times. If possible, have one teacher at the door saying “good-bye” to the students as they leave. Have another teacher engaging the rest of the class in an activity to keep their attention. Prior to class, cut out large squares of red and green construction paper. Each child should have one red square and one green square.
- This activity will help students determine if an action is showing obedience to God or disobedience. Pass out the squares made before class so that each child has one red square and one green square. Inform the students that you will read a few scenarios. With each scenario, they should raise their red square if they think the person is disobeying God and their green square if the person is obeying God.

Remind children that God desires for us to obey Him. When we obey Him, we are showing Him that we love Him.
- Have the children sit in a semi-circle on the floor as they listen to you read them a book.
