(5–8 minutes, easy setup)
Learners will identify attributes of God and describe how those attributes affect their lives.
(5–8 minutes, easy setup)
Provide a dry erase board and marker.
Say: People view God very differently around the world. Ask: What are some descriptions you have heard that may or may not be true about God? Record learners’ responses on the left side of the board.
Then, lead learners to identify characteristics of God from today’s lesson and record these on the right side of the board. Lead learners to compare how people in the world view God with what the Bible records about Him. Then, discuss: Which attribute (characteristic) of God do you most need today? Challenge learners to remember God’s presence in their lives this week and look for ways that He is working in their lives.
