Provide a dry erase board and markers. Write the following names across the top of the marker board leaving room below each name: Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Babe Ruth, and Margaret Thatcher. Additional information may be found on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page about each individual.
Call out the first name and ask: What do you know about Abraham Lincoln? Write the responses under Lincoln’s name. Continue with each name listed on the marker board. Use the following information to supplement learners’ responses:
Abraham Lincoln
George Washington
Babe Ruth
Margaret Thatcher
After going through the list ask: How well did you know these individuals? Before this exercise did you think you knew about each individual very well? Why or why not? Share that today we are going to discover the One who knows everything about us intimately.
