AUTHOR
Dr. David Platt is the senior pastor of The Church at Brook Hills, a 4,000-member congregation in Birmingham, Alabama. Widely regarded as an exceptional expositor, David has traveled and taught around the world. He holds two undergraduate degrees and three advanced degrees, including a Ph.D. from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. David and his wife, Heather, are the parents of Caleb and Joshua, and are in the process of adopting a third child.

Chris Kinsley and his wife, Liza, make their home in Birmingham, Alabama, with their daughter, Story. Chris has been a vital part of what happens at Student Life for the past nine years. As Content Creator, he has his hand in everything from theme development to what appears on stage to what is taught in each Bible study. He holds degrees from both Mississippi College and Beeson Divinity School and served on staff at FBC Jackson, MS prior to coming to Student Life.
