Learners will discuss how to encourage younger Christians to become active in the life of the Church.

Provide paper and a pen for each learner.
Distribute paper and pens. Invite learners to write on their paper the names of people they know who have provided solid testimony that Jesus is God and Savior. Instruct learners to write words that describe why these people presented a credible testimony to them. After a few minutes, invite learners to share responses.
Encourage learners to evaluate their own lives as a source of testimony to others. Ask: How does your life reflect some of the characteristics you have found in others? How can we encourage others to follow in that same way? After a few minutes, invite learners to share some of their reflections. Remind learners that Jesus’ focus on Scripture and ministry give witness to who He is. Discuss: How might we influence others, by personal study and ministry, to give attention to their own testimonies of how Jesus is both God and Savior?
