David Bennett lives in Brentwood, Tennessee, and teaches Bible, creative dramatics, and mixed woodwinds at The Oak Hill School in Nashville. He has spent the last 25 years in student ministry, serving in various capacities in the local church. David also worked for 10 years in Student Ministry Publishing at LifeWay. David lent his talents on this book as writer, developing editor, and compiler. When he’s not spending time with his wife Kimberly and their three daughters, Mary Claire, Caroline, and Sarah Kate, David enjoys traveling, writing, as well as producing and directing various stage productions. David earned his B.S. from Clemson University and his M.Div. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Paul Johnson is currently pursuing a degree in Marriage and Family Therapy through the University of Montevallo. He received a B.A. in Speech Communication and Theatre from Samford University in 1987. After Samford, he toured the world as a dramatic artist, published a few things, and annoyed a lot of people before deciding to grow up and go back to school in 2006. Paul was born in Atlanta, Georgia, but has toured the original thirteen colonies of America with family. In 1971, he appeared on Romper Room, but was scared away by Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee. Paul surrendered his life to Christ in 1980 and surrendered to the call of ministry in 1982. He now lives in Birmingham, Alabama, with his wife and their son.
Biblical Commentary Writer
Moses Caesar, D.Min., was born in India and grew up in Texas. He learned about God in church, about life at the Boy’s Club, and about fearing God from his parents. He served as a youth and college pastor in Texas, California, and Tennessee. He also served as Campus Pastor at two universities.
