Michael Kelley lives in Nashville, Tennessee, with his wife, Jana and two children. Michael grew up in Texas before moving to Birmingham, Alabama to pursue an M.Div. at Beeson Divinity School. He has served as a student pastor in Texas and Tennessee, worked extensively with camp organizations like Centrifuge and Student Life, and written curriculum and Bible studies for students as well as adults. Currently, Michael travels throughout the year speaking at conferences for students, young adults, and entire churches. Biblical Commentary Writer
Kenneth Mathews, Ph.D., resides with his wife, Dea Grayce, in Birmingham, Alabama. They have two children and four grandchildren. He is a member of Shades Mountain Baptist Church. Dr. Mathews teaches Hebrew and Old Testament at Beeson Divinity School, Samford University. He recently completed a two-volume commentary on the Book of Genesis in the New American Commentary Series. He also published the Leviticus Scroll, one of the Dead Sea Scrolls, and many other scholarly and non-technical publications. He speaks in churches, conferences, and Bible studies.

Monte Erwin works for Student Life Bible Study as a Youth Editor. Monte is originally from Stillwater, Oklahoma. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Oklahoma Baptist University, and an M.A.R.E. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. Monte spent 15 years on the mission field with the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention in the Caribbean and Latvia. Monte met his wife in the Bahamas as a Journeyman missionary. (Go ahead, laugh . . . somebody's gotta do it.) Monte enjoys wrestling with his two teenage sons: Trey, 17, and Trent, 15, and still reigns as the wrestling champion of the Erwin household. Mom still doesn't like it.

Chuck McCammon works as a children’s pastor in Birmingham, Alabama. He and his wife, Tamara, have two children, Daniel and Julia. Chuck earned a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of West Florida in Pensacola. He also earned a Master of Communications degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. Chuck has served in Children’s ministry for 10 years. His philosophy of ministry centers on the concept of equipping parents to lead their children spiritually. Prior to serving in Children’s Ministry, Chuck was involved in a variety of creative-oriented ministries such as music and drama. In his free time, he enjoys playing with his kids, watching movies, eating pizza, reading, and rooting for the Florida Gators. He has even been spotted solving a Sudoku puzzle or two. His favorite color is blue (especially Gator blue). His favorite food is his wife’s homemade pizza. His favorite TV shows are 24 and Heroes. His favorite Bible character (other than Jesus) is King David.
