Print one copy of the Master Teacher Outline for your use. Provide a copy of the Learner Worksheet and a pen for each learner. Display the Jesus is God and Savior Essential Truth poster or write the statement at the top of the board.

Pass out pens and copies of the Learner Worksheet. Use the Master Teacher Outline to teach Matthew 5:17-20. Then lead learners to discuss the following questions:

What kind of image of the Old Testament do you think Jesus tried to present?
How much do you value the Old Testament?
What Old Testament passage means the most to you?
When you study the Old Testament, how does it change the way you value your relationship with Christ?
