(5 minutes, moderate set-up)
Print one copy of the Guess Who? activity sheet and cut it apart along the dotted lines. Number the back of the pieces 1 through 15. Tape pieces in their correct positions facing the wall.
Explain that the pieces form a larger picture of a well-known public figure. Divide learners into two teams. The teams will take turns choosing a number. Tell them you will reveal the picture one frame at a time. After each piece, the team can guess what celebrity is in the picture.
When one team guesses correctly, bring the class back together. Ask the winning team: What clue gave away the picture? Ask the other team: Did any part of the picture mislead you? Then say: Sometimes we get so wrapped up in the details that we lose sight of the picture the details form. Today we will see how that can happen in our study of the Old Testament.
