Teaching Plan
Karla Storm, the youngest of three children, was born and raised in Stillwater, Oklahoma, where she graduated from Oklahoma State University with a B.A. in English. She married her college sweetheart, Matthew, and they have a beautiful daughter named Emily. They now live in Fort Worth, Texas, where Karla has studied at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. After living in Austin, Texas, for a few years, they’ve decided they enjoy life in a “cow town.”

Biblical Commentary Writer
Tambi Swiney was a student at Beeson Divinity School at Samford University when she discovered that God had gifted her to write and teach. She earned her M.Div. degree in May 2004, and since then she has enjoyed being a "freelance" minister, exercising her gifts in a variety of settings. She has authored 100 magazine articles and curriculum pieces and often speaks at missions conferences. She is the Spiritual Emphasis Team Coordinator for the Next Door, a transitional living and learning ministry for women coming out of incarceration. She helped found the Next Door in 2003. She is also active in the student ministry at First Baptist Nashville, where she mentors six teenage girls. Tambi has been married to her husband, Paul, for 20 years, and they have a teenaged son, Chaney. The family are veteran travelers, having visited all 50 states and six foreign countries. The Swineys make their home in Nashville, Tennessee, with their two cats, Kinnakeet and Denali.

Master Teacher Key Study Writer
Kyle Wiltshire lives in Alabaster, Alabama, with his wife, Joni. He is Minister of Students at First Baptist Church in Alabaster, where his desire is to relate to students, grow leaders, and aid parents in their roles at home. He graduated from Westgate Elementary School in Kenner, Louisiana. Several years later, he graduated from Beeson Divinity School in Birmingham, Alabama. Kyle is an avid and terrible golfer who plays as often and as poorly as he can. He enjoys all manner and variety of sports and music, especially U2, whom he has seen in concert six times. He enjoys eating with his family and friends at the Cracker Barrel and Moe’s.

Dr. Margie Williamson has served as a writer and editor, seminary professor, associational worker, and minister’s wife. She began writing in 1982 and has written Bible studies and devotions, Christian magazine articles, a training book for teachers of teenagers, academic articles, textbook chapters, and a dissertation. She completed two degrees at the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary—a master’s and a Ph.D. in Christian Education. She worked for Clarity Publishing from 2007-2010 as the Executive Editor of LifeBibleStudy. Currently, she works as an editor for Life Bible Study. Her favorite thing to do each week is to teach Bible study. Margie and her husband, Bob, have two amazing children, four incredible grandchildren, and one dog.
