Lesson Plan
One of the most effective ways for Student Life to help people know Christ through His Word is to include lots of gifted, godly people in the production of our resources. Here are a few of the people who pitched in to make Becoming happen . . .
Amy-Jo Girardier helped develop the Explore and Transform sections of each lesson. Amy-Jo lives in Nashville, and is the Girls Minister and Student Missions Coordinator at Brentwood Baptist Church. If she were a superhero, her weakness would be a tall, non-fat white chocolate mocha.
Student Life ran every Becoming lesson through a creative team, where the activities were tweaked, cut, beefed up, or given the green light. The Becoming creative team was made up of Drew Francis (Student Life Creative Director), Chris Kinsley (Student Life Creative Producer), Erin Moon (Student Life Creative Assistant), and Andy Blanks (Student Life Product Development Manager). A creative team, indeed.
Andy Blanks served as lead editor for Becoming. Andy wrote the creative team’s changes into the lessons, wrote the lesson devotionals, and wrote the Master Teacher Key Studies. He is currently the Manager of Resource Development for Student Life. When Andy is not going to school, working, or teaching the Bible to teenagers, he loves to read, write, and urge the Boston Red Sox on to victory.
