AUTHOR
Dr. David Platt is the senior pastor of The Church at Brook Hills, a 4,000-member congregation in Birmingham, Alabama. Widely regarded as an exceptional expositor, David has traveled and taught around the world. He holds two undergraduate degrees and three advanced degrees, including a Ph.D. from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. David and his wife, Heather, are the parents of Caleb and Joshua, and are in the process of adopting a third child.

Chris Kinsley and his wife, Liza, make their home in Birmingham, Alabama, with their daughter, Story. Chris is currently the Communications Director for the Church at Brook Hills. Prior to coming to Brook Hills, he held the position Content Creator at Student Life where he worked for nine years. He holds degrees from both Mississippi College and Beeson Divinity School and previously served on staff at FBC Jackson, MS.
Adam Mitchell and his wife, April, serve as missionaries in Diego Suarez, Madagascar, with their two daughters, Emma and Corinne. After two years on the field in Madagascar, Adam will complete his Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Prior to seminary and mission work, Adam served as youth pastor at The Church at Shelby Crossings near Birmingham, Alabama, and preached frequently at youth camps, Disciple Now weekends, and other church related events.
Sean Bess contributed to the Connect and Transform section of each lesson. He studied creative writing at The University of Alabama at Birmingham and Biblical studies/general education at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He also has years of experience preaching, teaching, and serving the next generation.
