Learning Goal: Students will evaluate how their present standard of righteousness compares to God’s standard of righteousness.
Explain that in the Old Testament, people demonstrated their unworthiness before God or before a king by assuming a prostrate position, which means lying facedown. Encourage students to spread out and either kneel or lie facedown on the floor. Then lead them through prayer according to the following prompts.
