Ben Edfeldt is husband of Beth, father of Tucker and Libby, and owner of Boo Radley (their dog). Ben and Beth serve in Wichita Falls, Texas, where Ben is a Baptist student ministry director at Midwestern State University. He loves equipping students to make the Word, missions, and leadership a priority. He is a lover of most sports and likes to collect books that he probably won’t read (at least as quickly as he’d like to read them). Ben has completed a bachelor’s degree in religious studies from Shorter College in Rome, Ga., and a master of divinity degree from Beeson Divinity School at Samford University in Birmingham, Ala.

Margie Williamson has served as a writer and editor, seminary professor, associational worker, and minister’s wife. She began writing in 1982 and has written Bible studies and devotions, Christian magazine articles, a training book for teachers of teenagers, academic articles, textbook chapters, and a dissertation. She served as the executive editor of LifeBibleStudy from 2007–2010. Currently, she is freelance writing and editing for a couple of book projects. Margie has been able to travel extensively through Israel, Greece, Rome, and Turkey.
Margie met her husband Bob while they were students at the University of Georgia. She was pursuing a bachelor of arts degree in social work; he was studying forestry. Neither used those degrees in their careers, but both have drawn upon them continually in their lives. Margie later pursued a master of arts degree in Christian education and a Ph.D. in Christian education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Margie and Bob have two adult children: Scott is a certified fire fighter and E.M.T. and is married to Wendy, and Jenna is a student at the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with her husband Benjie.

Tambi Brown Swiney is associate pastor at Immanuel Baptist Church in Nashville, Tenn. She earned a master of divinity degree in 2004 from Beeson Divinity School at Samford University. Tambi met her husband Paul at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, and they are proud that their son Chaney is now following in their orange-and-white footsteps.

Emily Darnell Hooten is a follower of Jesus Christ and a firm believer in the love, hope, honesty, grace, and life-change that come through truly knowing Him. She is a graduate of Samford University, has worked on summer youth camp staff as a seminar leader, and has been on staff with two different church student ministries. Emily lives in Birmingham, Ala., with her singing husband Chuck and is a proud mother to three little girls. Emily also loves stars, sour straws, her dog Ruby, laughing, and taking pictures.
